DFS Maintenance & Service Agreements: 4 Key Questions Answered

What’s included in a DFS Maintenance and Service Agreement?

Each agreement is tailored to your maintenance and servicing needs, depending on your production schedule and operational requirements. It defines the scope and frequency of visits over a 12-month period.

During the pre-agreed visits, one or more certified technicians perform the work outlined in your signed agreement, which may include:

⚙️   Routine inspections with running and standing assessments to detect visible wear, misalignment or potential issues

⚙️   Basic maintenance, including greasing, small adjustments and small parts replacement from client’s stock

⚙️   Minor or major servicing as scheduled, including replacement of parts from the prepared service kits

⚙️   Optional dedicated spare-parts kits (available per agreement)

Following each visit, a service report is provided detailing work completed, equipment condition and recommended spare parts to support further maintenance planning.

DFS Maintenance & Service Agreements are designed to supplement and support in-house maintenance programmes. Daily maintenance and checks on the equipment remain the responsibility of the customer.

Why prioritise preventative maintenance?

Preventative maintenance allows early detection of wear, misalignment or component fatigue before minor issues escalate into costly downtime. Benefits may include extended equipment lifespan and fewer unplanned stoppages.

How does a DFS Maintenance and Service Agreement benefit my business?

The agreement is designed to support greater operational certainty and control. It offers predictable monthly budgeting with structured invoicing, supports proactive spare-parts planning to help avoid emergency orders and provides peace of mind, allowing your team to focus on core production priorities.
