In June 2026, DFS Process Solutions welcomed Hiwell Machinery as a new principal supplier, strengthening our offering in further processing and value-added products for the poultry, meat, fish, and seafood industries. Hiwell specialises in intelligent portioning, fixed-weight cutting, as well as forming, coating, and crumbing systems.

Intelligent Portioning & Cutting Solutions
Hiwell’s intelligent portioning solutions combine 2D and 3D scanning with algorithm-driven cutting to produce fixed-weight portions, precision cubes, and consistently sized products. Using recipe-controlled production, processors can maintain repeatable specifications while maximising raw material utilisation.
The portfolio includes intelligent portion cutters, horizontal slicers, intelligent dicers, and complete automated cutting lines for poultry, meat, and fish — delivering high-accuracy solutions for chicken/fish steaks, strips, cubes, and other size- or weight-controlled products.
Forming, Coating & Crumbing Solutions
For further processing, Hiwell offers complete solutions including drum formers, plate formers, battering machines, predusters, breaders, and integrated lines. These systems can be configured to individual needs and integrated with cooking, freezing, and packaging equipment.
The Hiwell Drum Former uses low-pressure forming technology with air release knock-out (no water required), preserving product integrity while achieving high yields and minimal material leakage. It is well suited for burgers, nuggets, strips, popcorn, fish products, seafood, plant-based items, and other formed convenience foods.
